This project is a move toward landing back on shore after swimming in uncertainty. A swirling tide of opportunity. A place to share the things that interest me.
A space for an idea and a new project: the Ashore Archive – a creative research project by Angela Chick. The aim is to give me space to test and develop a series of ideas I have had floating around for a long time.
Ashore: towards or on the shore or land, after being in or in the water.
Archive: a collection of historical documents, data, objects or records.
Ashore Archive: definition to remain loose but part of it will act as a living archive – documenting ongoing creative projects, workshop facilitation, zine research, practice-based research and following the things that spark interest in me.
Some homophones that attach me to ‘ashore’:
A sure (confident, certain)
Assure (make someone feel confident about something, make certain)
